A short thought on art.

I think of the soundscapes of the Books, or MGMT and am amazed. How do human arrangements and natural sounds and shapes coincide, complement, transcend, sing? CREATOR (spirit)   CREATURE (matter and spirit)  CREATION (matter)  ARTIFACTS (spirit imbued matter)  

Artifacts and the words around them create backwashed worlds, feedback loops, wetland marshes of inspiration (notice the root) where bits of spirit and mud mix waiting for minds to form and be formed by past works. And so, consciously or not, artists deal in spirit and not only artists, but also mathematicians, realtors, etc. etc. Get your hands dirty, fingers stinking of metal strings, wear paint stained jeans.
